Designed by Tom Jensen, Sr. in 1947 and perfected in 1977 by our Instrument Engineer, Randy Calhoun, this massive power plant truly is the Ultimate Steam Engine. Created by mating our # 50 engine with Randy's beautifully designed and fully functional control panel with it's electronic metering devices, the # 51 Power Station is a wonderful sight to see as well as hear. Some of it's many exclusive features include a unique A/C-D/C generator, meter banks for low voltage A/C and D/C production and the high voltage boiler heater controls and switches. This 75 pound monster, also demonstrates the various voltage outputs and "Real World" operating dynamic factors, such as the increased BTU requirements during peak load demands. With it's 30" tall brass water tower, (that can be customized with your name or company logo). The # 51 can operate up to 6-8 hours before refilling is required. For the past 20 years, power companies in North America have used the Jensen # 51 Power Station to demonstrate and educate those involved and interested in the power generation and transmission fields.
